Privacy

• Account: your email (and/or phone), your @tag, display name, avatar, and bio. Authentication is handled by Clerk.
• Content: the cuts you post (HTML artifacts or links), captions, and the stacks/links you attach.
• Activity: likes, saves, re-cuts, follows, and anonymous exposure signals (impressions, dwell) used to rank the feed. Activity signals carry no message content.
• Operational logs: standard request logs and error reports for reliability and abuse prevention.

To run the product: show and rank the feed, attribute your cuts to your @tag, power re-cuts, and keep the service safe (rate limiting, moderation). We do not sell your personal data.

Your @tag is part of your Better Together identity and can be recognised across the Better Together family of apps. We only share your wider profile — display name, avatar, and bio — with other Better Together apps if you give explicit consent. That consent is optional, captured at sign-up, and changeable anytime in Settings.

We use Clerk (authentication), Neon (database), Cloudflare (artifact hosting and rendering), and Vercel (app hosting). Each processes data only to provide their part of the service.

You can export your account, your cuts, and your social activity (likes, saves, and who you follow) at any time from Settings (or /api/me/export), and you can delete your account and all associated content from Settings. Deletion is permanent and removes your cuts, activity, and credentials.
